Privacy Policy

Kadenza is a tool that helps you run your content and leads across LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you get it deleted. We keep it specific to what the app actually does. Questions? Email hello@afaqbuilds.com.

What we collect

Only what the app needs to work:

• Your account: your email and name (from sign-up or Google login), and the API keys you create to use our API and MCP (we store only a hashed version, never the raw key).
• Connected accounts: when you connect LinkedIn or Instagram, we store the account's id and display name so we can act on your behalf and show you which account is linked. We never see or store your LinkedIn or Instagram password.
• Your content and research: the competitors you track and their public posts, the drafts you write, and the posts you publish and schedule through Kadenza.
• Leads you capture: when you run a lead magnet, we store the name, handle and email of people who opt in, so you can follow up. You control this data; those people can ask you, or us, to delete it.
• Files you upload to your storage, short-lived upload safety records, and basic technical logs (like error records) needed to keep the app running.
• Public-form safety data: we process a CAPTCHA result and keep short-lived, one-way fingerprints made from a visitor's IP address plus request counts. We use these only to stop spam and repeat counting. The fingerprints cannot be turned back into an IP address and expire after 48 hours.

How we use it

To run the features you ask for: research, drafting, posting and scheduling, the lead-magnet automation, and your inbox and analytics. We use your email to sign you in and to send you service messages, like a new-lead notification or a safety alert if a platform flags your account. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run Kadenza. We share only what each one needs, and each is bound by its own terms:

• Supabase — our database, login and file storage. Your data lives here.
• Vercel — hosts the app and processes requests.
• Unipile — the service that connects to your LinkedIn and Instagram. When you post, comment, or send a DM through Kadenza, that action passes through Unipile to the platform.
• Resend — sends our transactional emails (sign-in and notifications).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checks public lead forms for automated abuse. Cloudflare receives the technical request data needed to run that check.

We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers. Nothing about your usage is sent to ad networks.

About AI

Kadenza itself does not send your data to any AI model, and it does not generate content on its own. You can choose to connect your own AI (like Claude or ChatGPT) to Kadenza using your API key and our MCP. If you do, your AI reads your Kadenza data when you tell it to, on your own account with that provider, and under that provider's terms and privacy policy. That connection is yours to make and yours to remove, by revoking the key in the API & MCP tab.

Other people's data (your leads)

When you capture leads, you are responsible for having the right to contact those people and for honoring their requests. Kadenza only stores and processes that data on your behalf. Anyone whose data you hold can email us at hello@afaqbuilds.com to have it removed.

How we keep it safe

Your files sit in a private storage bucket and are only ever served through short-lived signed links, never a public URL. API keys are stored hashed, so even we can't read them back. Data is encrypted in transit, and database access is locked down so one account can never see another's data.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect any platform, delete your files, and revoke your keys yourself in the app at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, follow the steps on our data deletion page, or email hello@afaqbuilds.com.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Email hello@afaqbuilds.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Kadenza is for adults running a business or brand. It's not for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for anything significant we'll let you know by email. Using Kadenza after a change means you accept the new version.
